As long as I can remember I’ve always had an interest in massage. From massaging family members, to massaging friends competing in the school sports carnivals. The passion for massage and body work has been very strong.
Not too long after I completed my High School Certificate a family friend, who was an osteopath, naturopath and a dietician, offered to teach me therapeutic massage.
I moved to Sydney and work with, the then, president of the Remedial Massage Association, in his clinic at Concord West. I also worked part time with a massage therapist in Manly and Hornsby.
After getting married and having 3 children, I worked at Camp Eden in the Currumbin Valley and casually from a home-based clinic. I also spent 8 years working for a local Naturopath at her Port Kembla clinic.
In 2010 I went back to school and earned my Diploma in Remedial Massage at the Shellharbour TAFE. Now my beloved clients could claim on their Health funds as I now have provider numbers. I am also a member of Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
My continued education has included Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Release and Dry Needling.
My Ambient, Home-based clinic also includes the use of an InfraRed Sauna and Ice bath to optimise healing and wellbeing.
